"To find a new life”

04 March 2015

Public organization "Responsible people" has launched a social project for better adaptation of immigrants from the ATO. Its task is "to strengthen strong people " and to inspire faith in those who need support.

The photos of real people from Lugansk who have moved to other cities and began a new life have appeared on advertising carriers throughout Ukraine. People who have enough energy to build a new life for his family, who found the strength to go forward and to inspire others by their own example.

According to statistics from the State emergency service the largest number of internally displaced persons concentrates in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Lviv. To let them know about the launch of social programs it was necessary to highlight them. And also to form the loyal attitude of local population towards them.

OOH agency Master AD. About 15 companies (operators of outdoor advertising and advertising agencies) has provided their carriers and advertising services free of charge. A large-scale campaign included more than 400 advertising carriers (bill-boards, city-lights, screens, transport advertising, advertising in residential buildings, in shopping Malls, etc). This project was realized thanks to the consolidation of the majority of OOH market participants.

"Not only the people called internally displaced persons have another life today. Every Ukrainian has completely changed life. And in these new difficult conditions we all try "to find a new life". Therefore, the main message of our project is about each of us. What will be our new reality and a new country depends on what I choose to do now and what my actions will," says Svetlana Stepanyuk, the Media Director of Master AD.

A similar project was done in France during the wave of immigrants. To support them Elysian Fields were full of posters with photos of immigrants who managed to build a new life for themselves and their families and thus to show others the examples of new lives and to inspire them.
